Hi. Does anybody know the maximum depth an aftermarket sub could have to fit in a Soarer? I know that many members replaced the factory one with the Jaycar 10", but I would like to shop around for some other subs before I make a decision...

I bought the 8" from Jaycar , and it fitted OK in the shelf with a bit of mdf spacer. If the 10" fits, any will fit as taht is one of the biggest subs you will see in 10".

Jaycar sell a few different subs. The 10 inch I replaced mine with was a paper sub that cost about $25 from memory and was a little shallower than the original one that was in there.

Have a look for subwoofers and it's the only 8" there; it has dual coils, sound pretty good in my car.
