I have the stock stereo system for a TT with an FM Freq converter (that doesnt actually work that well).

Might be a stupid question but i cant for the life of me work out how to set the presets?

I need to do this as only 2 or 3 stations are actually tolerable.

Check the installation of the expander does it have one or two connected, you may have to replace it with a higher quality one.

I have seen quite a few all of different sound quality. Although all are poor the New Zealand ones seem to be the best from that which I have tested.


As for setting the presets try pushing and holding the button while at the station you wish to assign. (Been a while since I used a TT deck)

I will give the 'hold and press' a try tomorrow.

As for the FM converter - I plan to get a new head unit to replace it very soon any way so hopefully it will not annoy me for much longer.
