hi just bought my wife a 95 es300 and the stacker doesn't work, it has power going to the stacker can hear it cycle the disks when loaded. But when you hit the cd button on the stereo nothing happens. any ideas? thanks.

I had the same problem with mine. Turned out to be incorrect head unit and no wiring at back of head unit for the stacker. Did what yours does, cycled etc, but no go. When you push CD button on the head unit with radio going, does the radio still keep working?

Could be just a dirty laser if everything else is right. Try one of the laser cleaning discs, they're only about $10 and it may work. Failing that I would need to see the car as i don't have test setup for those.
