my mate's trying to sell a woofer to me for $100.
It's a Rockford 15" woofer ... I'm not really craving for it but as long as he selling it... i want to take it...
basically, he has a genuine box with 2 woofers fitted.. and he thought 2 woofers are too much for his Skyline R34... (they are still in the boot and there's no room ...)
as the box is for 2 woofers... he's gonna sell 1 woofer to me and make up another box for 1 woofer system. I won't take the box as that's too big for my Soarer too...
Ok, no more introduction, my point is to ask you guys how hard to install the woofer by myself and whether I need to also get new amp as well.... In my assumption, the one underneath CD stacker is the amp... isn't it ?

let me correct a bit
It's a Rockford fosgate puch series 12" and can be free-air
ok let me also make it clear my concern is to put the woofer in stock location without any mod and additional amp or whatever... if I need amp replace ment, how much ?
any idea ?

You WILL need an aftermarket amp to drive that sub. Also, after doing multiple soarer installs having the sub in the parcel shelf in a free air environment sounds rather mediocre opposed to having it in a box. Also mounting a 12" in the shelf provides its own set of dilemmas too.
