not bad at all, atleast they are not bulging out 3 inches, like most of the doof doof boys

When will the homeboys learn that its about 0-120mph, not how many strathfied subs you can cram in the back of the VL,

Oh well

Well, at least subs are legal on the street. Seems horsepower isn't any more :-(

The reason the door pods often stick out a long way is because of the depth of the speaker, not for fully sikkness

It looks like the speakers used in the pic in this thread are super shallow, they'd have to be like 1.5" deep to be flush mounted like that in a Soarer door... or any car door

^ I disagree..we have a lot of space behind our doors where the speaker whole is because the window does not interfere...

I fitted a 4" deep speaker and flush mounted it to the stock door metal (about 2" deeper then the door skin)

I'm with mike. To be honest I like hidden speakers in the soarer, it's quite an understated car to me(for the most part) and I like that. Apart from the yellow making them stand out which to me clashes with the interior, its a nice job.

looks good it wont crack either cause the bit above the speakers is thicker. i have 5 door trims all cracked in that same spot. if it were me i wouldnt of covered the arm rest. its not easy customising soarer door trims im in the process of doing a spare set i have. his done a good job.
