Hey all i am over my current setup patching my ipod through the tv input and wanting to go fold out dvd/sat nav sound system. I understand i need to by the non EMV aircon controls and make a new wirring loom but i am strict on time so i was wondering if anyone who has done this would like to sell there loom they have made for this setup?? Or would anyone like to trade a working EMV for Non EMV aircon controls plus wiring loom and whatever else needed to make new head unit work? Thanks in advance

That sounds tempting Daniel, however, if your foldout unit is of a single din type - why not just remove the EMV cassette unit. All you will then need to do is connect your new single din unit to the existing speakers, battery/acc power and the FM aerial lead and its associated power.

Haha its amazing how fast my mind changes!! i have decided to install a fixed 7" screen instead of the fold out screen and the just find myself a 1/2 din pocket. So if i can get a non EMV Climate control unit with the custom wirring loom needed to make it all work i will trade for my Working EMV... I was tempted to do what you have stated already but there would be a problem with the screen hitting the gear stick in park plus i think a 7" screen would update the look a little..
