Hey Guys I'm running a pioneer DVD player, a 300x4, a 1000w monoblock, 2 x 6 inch splits, 2 x 6 inch 3 ways as well as 2 x 12inch subs also soon to be 10inch for when i take out the 2 x 12's.
Anyways I developed an engine noise problem a couple of weeks back so i sent my unit away for testing came back fine, anyways put it back in still doing it, it's now back at pioneer. Anyways another mate has a JVC unit in his JZZ30 and his now developed engine noise as well as the indicators can be heard through the speakers.

yeah i had that problem a while ago. check your ground/earth wire. Alternatively you can fix this with a ummm sh1t what was it called... ground loop something or other...

I had exactly the same problem in my '30 with engine and indicator noise. It was not a power/ground problem, i had to stop using the factory amplifier.
I ran new cables from my deck to the outputs of the stock amp (after disconnecting them form the amp), solved all my problems.

Hi Just give a hint, look at the (+)the one from your battery to the amp, never let them close to any of the speaker wire, otherwise they going to give you lot of distortion.

yes that is also true.. make sure that your amp kit goes on one side of the car and the speak wires go through the other side, having the power wire next to speaker wire / rca's WILL cause noise on your speakers
