As above, has happened numerous times now and i'm sick of taking it all apart so I can remove the stuck cd.

Is this a fairly common stacker problem?

Is there anything I can do to help the situation?

Also, how do I go about wiring in an ipod? Are there any specific cables that I need?
Is there a tutorial on how to attack it?

Cheers in advance, Sean.

I would send it to Damian Ware, he can repair CD stackers for a price.

They can be pretty easy to screw up if your not experienced with those, they just have so many small finniky parts through out them that if you break or loose it can be a bit of an issue.

I can do a lot of things, but I prefer to say away from them for that reason, especially after seeing what my Soarers CD stacker was like inside - just a nightmare. :-)

I can't play burnt cd's either.

Might look more in to a DVD player, seems pretty straight forward.

Mike, all I do is take it apart to remove the cd, I don't get too technical

My advice is if you remove the stock headunit to re do the entire system.

You can probably keep all the speakers, as they are quite good, but run new wires and run new amps, you can't really use the factory amp in the boot with a new head deck, from my experiences the sound quality was rubbish.
