Analog tv is finishing in a few years ..so i bought one of these
and fitted it in the armrest ,T.V works well parked , but not so good on the move, it supports ntsc so the signal can go direct to EMV.

Brenton i payed $75 for it on ebay ,buy it now was $144 plenty on there at the moment, but in Perth the window ariels not that good, so i bought a dig roof ariel $38 ebay again.
Police ...yes its the only tape i kept ,must get the cd

Thought i better put a pic of the ariel (probable put some people off) but i have a short bee sting one for the radio.

well my emv is completely stock and i havent done the tv conversion, i assume this wont work? |

Interesting, So how do you connect the tuner to the EMV when you dont have the a/v input in the arm rest? |

Ali yes it will work as it has a NTSC output all you are doing is swopping the tv tuner (as long as its pre96)
Daniel all EMV soarers have a av input under the gear plate its just a matter of making a small harness....early soarers are mono at this connection sadly. |

Can the DV-t tuner also play mp3z files through the SD card?
I have a DVD player connected to my soarer and its have the a/v cable + power plug that i can use! |

You can tried the DVD install for EMV soarer on Toyota Soarer FAQ:

This is how my DVD player fitted and works great!
It can be used for just about any other A/V product.

Ali rear is for the rear air purifier and i thought the front would do for the parking post , on 96+ Soarers you also get zoom in and zoom out stickers for the nav buttons. |

hey dave you got any soarer or griffon decals? i wanna use them as a template when i paint my calipers. also with your antenna, can it be replaced by a bee sting one? how was your reception in the hills at the cruise? cause i lost all channels when we were up there lol |

These things are fantastic. I have one (not this one/brand) and you can pretty much drive anywhere without loosing reception. With the old analogue tuners you needed to be parked with no power poles or tree's near as they caused interference |

Ali sorry no , but someone on here was doing griffin calipers decals? also ebay UK have some TRD and Lexus caliper decals.
Reception on the cruise was v good (Ben spent a while watching his footy team on 7)and yes the bee sting works fine close to a transmitter.
Drew are you close to a transmitter?as mine does dropout 30ks from the transmitter if you are moving, |
