I've wired in AV input into the TV module plug under the rear seat.
the audio works great but the picture is rotating very fast (kinda hard to explain but used to get his with the old VCRs and TVs). It is also very pale in color, close to black and white.
Is there anyway i can fix this up as i would like to attach a DVD player

However , some only allow switching Pal to NTSC via remote control / on screen menus - thus , you need to plug into a PAL screen I.e. Your home tv, to access the menu to change to NTSC . That is bum Chinese logic for ya

Is there a simple fix for converting an already existing EMV/TV analog system to digital??? eg like a 12V set top box arrangement???? OR is more complex???
Basically you can install a digital tuner, and connect it to the TV tuner plug in the same manner as installing a DVD player.
Other mods needed are the overrides for the safety mechanism that turns off the TV function when the car moves or is put in gear.
From memory the handbrake, gear shift and speed sensor are all involved. There are how-to's on this floating around the forums also, basically it involves some mods behind the EMV in the EMV wiring looms. This is one item I still have to complete before my DVD setup will work.
Overall, it seems to be fairly straight forward as there is lots of info available. The hardest bit is probably a good antenna setup. This is covered in the link above.

what a fantastic idea- sounds much simpler than the EMV conversion as well as being up to date re the changeover from analogue to digital. Does this digital tuner also provide radio channels as well as TV? Now that would make it even more worthwhile!

Only 2abc and 3sbs digital radio channels are on the TV tuner here in Perth at the moment James ,but you can also buy a dab+ digital radio tuner fitted the same way
