On my HTC DHD I find wireless mobile streaming over HSPA/HSPA+ is fine, but as soon as it drops to 3G it gets too laggy - and unfortunately so much of NZ's Vodafone network doesn't have HSPA let along HSPA+. Having the FM tuner is definitely useful sometimes, if I run out of podcasts to listen to.

Ok, with the soarer speakers, the wires (at least in the drivers door so far), are grey and blue/grey. Which is the positive and which is the negative? Or how do i work out which is which? Cheers
Actually i think it might be easier to work it out wire side rather than speaker side as i found this: http://www.lextreme.com/Lexradiowcd.pdf RF+ LTGRN RF- BLU LF+ PINK LR- VIO RR+ RED RR- WHT LR+ BLK LR- YEL SUB+ RED/WHT SUB- BLK/WHT

These tiny and cheap ($25) motherboards will be available soon. Comes with a HDMI video out and one USB port. Supposedly powerful enough to handle Quake III, so should be ideal for car-pc's.

Who listens to radio :s
I think i remember a station or two from 1999, i think one was JJJ and another was MMM there's probably a ZZZ somewhere...
All i know is the music selection is rubbish on the radio, and for less than 5gb per month, i can stream unlimited radio if i wanted. Maybe not 100% unlimited, because the fuel cost of running the car all month would far outweigh the cost of a 29 data plan. But you know what I mean.
Mostly, with the library of several thousand songs, i wouldn't understand why anyone would spend nearly a grand (or more after amps and speakers and wiring) on modifying their sound system to then say "I'll just run FM on it". At least do digital.

Just buy a DAB+ digital tuner ($180) , 40+ channels in Perth,no hiss clicks etc sound is same or better than CD, bass is perfect going through the Soarer sound system. Never listen to Fm .
