I have been looking for a way to add a auxiliary input into my factory unit as everything works and I like to keep everything looking and working factory. Although I have found some solutions, I would never be happy with them. That is when I came across my silver bullet. http://assets.sonicelectronix.com/manuals/metra/met-958157b.pdf I couldn't believe how cheap it is and ordered one straight away. Single din units too. Now the wait. I also was thinking that I could use the volume control via the steering wheel control loom from one of these Chinese eBay double din units. I now have the feeling that the volume control actually controls the factory amp in the boot. Is this correct?

Just a word of warning with regards to the metra kit and a Ebay double din unit. I purchased the same combo and found the Hu was to wide for the Metra kit. I had to cut away the sides of the kit. This isn't so much the kits fault as i'm sure if you use a brand name head unit it will fit perfectly.
I also had to modify the bottom of it as it would foul the ashtray lit and stop it from opening/closing.
