exactly the same as the erisin units... i posted a link to the erisin product range a few posts back. reviews are not the best.. android is slow. and you select it for use. media and all other duties such as radio are done by the unit itself. android is part of the scree. removable tablet.

well. i just managed to run Android 4 ice cream sandwich as a virtual pc on windows 7 ultimate, for a car pc i am currently building. looks nice, works well. just hell slow! but i am running it as a live cd virtual machine.
mini itx mothrboard isnt a slouch either. atom d2700 2.13ghz dual core with hyper threading and 4gb 1066mhz ddr3 ram. 40 gb ssd for OS. 7.1 channel surround with speaker/ room correction distance/ delay correction software, (perfect for gettin rid of 'late' bass when running subs in the boot)
very pleased with this current motherboard fast, silent (no fan) and complete solid capacitor design. reliable.

using a virtual machine setup does make the whole experience buggy, i burnt the .iso as an image to usb, then rebooted and changed the boot order to usb uefi first. save and exit, on reboot it then reads the usb and gives me the option to run it live, or install to hard disc. i installed it to hard disk without formatting the partition.
once through that i created a fake SD card using the usb stick. im just doing that now so hopefully without the usb in. it will boot to windows as per normal and front end etc. only booting android when the usb is in.

Sounds good, any luck with GPS? I also wondered about multi touch, but I don't think any features of the Android system require it, more of an optional thing to allow pinch to zoom. Can you zoom ina nd out of Google maps without it?

no i havent. figured there's no need as windows provides the driver support for anything and most aftermarket ECU companies tend to use software on windows platforms.
