hey everyone,

basically i want to keep the car looking as stock as possible but then have similar features if i had a full aftermarket system.

would it be possible to slap in a amp and a sub in the car running with the stock headunit? if so, would any one have the wiring diagram for that setup?

thanks in advance :-)

-EDIT- Topic is about stock headunit to aftermarket amp.

seeing too much subs in these topics haha

It depends on whether the car had a sub or not from the factory.
Either way it can be done but the approach will be different.
If the car did not have a sub then the head unit has no output for one and a sub filter will have to be used and also a high-to-low-level converter unless you are confident in building your own line level splitter.
If the car did have a sub then an aftermarket amp can be connected to the sub output of the head unit in place of the factory amp.

well i had a post ages ago about the stock sub which i had put in with a sub amplifier and i got that working fine but i want more bass when im driving.

the headunit doesnt seem to hve any RCA cables for a amplifier connection.

is there a way where you could route a amp from the little stock sub amplifier to a larger amp so a bigger sub could be installed?

If you have a stock sub amp then it is relatively easy to replace it with a bigger amp.
