hi guys, im new to soarers, not new to cars. my ask is after reading all the appropriate threads...can an aftermarket single din head unit be fitted succesfully under the EMV in the cassette units space or is it a mission to put in with the ashtray?. i bought a car minus all the factory units....newbie stuff up. the emv works and according to all posts im better to start from scratch. will it fit in the hole and look good?

I did it and it fits perfectly fine. The ash tray lid rubs a little when opened but other than that works well.. You will lose some functionality of the EMV but nothing that I use.. in fact the back light of my emv is gone anyway! lol.
