Now this is weird.I have installed single din Kenwood all wired up and working.Sound through speakers.

Come out to the car today and no sound through any speakers.

Unit is not running through any amps and speakers are running straight to the single din head. I can see the unit is working sound level meters are going up and down etc. No sound through speakers. This applies even if on radio or cd.

Not sure why. Has anyone had this problem????

I 2nd the above.. check to make sure the mute button hasnt been pressed.

I doubt it is an 'output socket' as the loom has all the wires, including power, on the same plug. So if there's power there should be sound.

Nope.Wasnt the radio.I replaced it with brand new unit and all was working. Was even working as late as yesterday. Come out today and same again. No sound. Can anyone tell me wether the speakers go through some form of amp or preamp after the front console harness??? Driving me nuts.
Thanks

Vincent hit the nail on the head.It was ONE loose speaker wire on the right rear parcel shelf making and breaking contact.

Seems when one wire goes down they all stop working.

Hope this helps someone in the future
