Is it possible to wire stereo radio tuner into the tv unit under back seat in 1991 limited, and have radio channels played through the stereo. System. Not interested in the tv side of it only the radio.. Would he channel frequency come up on the emV screen and could the frequencies be controlled by the Chanel selector on the emv screen. The radio is pretty hopeless even with band expander. Some of the posts seem to suggest it can be done but refer to DVD players.

if you use the audio rca plugs and the video rca, you will have display of station etc on the emv. and it will play audio when you select TV.

Dave rose has fitted a digital radio unit, which if you have digital would be great.

If you just have an audio out,You can play it thru the tv rca plugs, but you just need to have a unit which you can control and see what station you are on with out the emv displaying it.

Try googling or looking on ebay for what is available

Thanks Tom, one more question. If you use the tv video cable to output the station frequencies on the emv screen will thay still display whilst driving or do you have to do the mod.

i think you will need to do the mod.

I am sure you can do it with out removing the EMV, just access the wires on the plugs to the emv.
