Brash imports in Melbourne for cheap gear. Neltronics in Perth for good stuff (especially NTSC reverse camera) but pricey if you have to pay full retail.

I ask this because I went to J.B. after having a look at the site's that were suggested just to compare prices and the bloke there told me it was not possible to connect the two or run them sprite but he also told me there was no such thing as a 1.5 din pocket ether, and clearly there is so basically he just confused the hell out of me....

i currently have two decks running. A pioneer avxp7300dvd and a pioneer deh p1y. Usually you would run the dvd deck of a separate processor like the pioneer avmp8000 wich i was doing. However i have taken out the processor and im now running the dvd deck of my p1y. Most new pioneer decks will run a dvd player and will work well together.

They will work great together. You should be able to play wma/mp3s on both units, i think waw files on a dvd will also play. reason im using my cd deck together with the dvd player is because my dvd player cant play mp3s and my cd player can, so it works good together. The two units you have chosen both play mp3's so thats even better. The only downfall in not having the processor is that i wont be able to plug any devices such as an ipod, xbox, or tv tuner to the system because i wont have any inputs. By the way is anyone interested in buying the processor of me or swapping it for another pioneer cd player?
