Ive got em in my Benz. They are about 96% as good as my MB Quart splits, very broad spectrum, and handle a good whack of midrange. Best matched with a quality class amp.
The current ones for sale (at least in the NT, possibly older stock floating around in southern states has a less rigid basket, and the cone material appears thinner.
As for being good value, they are in a class double their price. The 6" kevlar cones are an awesome coaxial, i mean 180degree spectrum, your ears really tingle. 'Course it depends on the install too. I've just bought my first soarer so Im about to learn alot about its imaging. I think it will share similarities in materials with my coupe though. Ohh, and Jaycar amps (the latest response series) are "teh roxor amps dood"
