might need to speak to mark about the hook up, sounds like your audio is no longer original, (the control buttons (CD, Radio, T.v etc), so if you select the t.v input for the tvix and run the audio to the pioneer then you should be in business. I still use the original amps etc so audio is hooked to the tv input, I can still select the radio,c.d,tv etc.... you just need to have an audio in on your pioneer for the tvix.... mark may know if you can by pass the tape deck to switch video on the emv, ie leave out the tape deck and put a switch in to change to t.v from the control screen. don't know if thats possible.... Mark would know though!!!!

Thanks Paul, any ideas Mark? Is it Possible? Even if i do have to hook up the original tape deck, is is possible to get all speakers and sub working through the tvix unit and/or the head unit as well? RCA Splitters maybe? Is there anyone in the Melbourne area that would be willing to have a look at my current setup and give me some advice on how to install the new unit?

The best part is you can take it out and plug it into your home TV or any other tv, GREAT for hotel parties, Movie nights and long 12 hour shifts at work.....
Still haven't sorted the jap characters yet but it doesn't really bother me as it's very user friendly with the remote.
Paul Are you using the Tvix Manager? Just downloaded that too.

have Tvix Manager but find it easier to convert all of my video files using 3rd party conversion sofware, as I do alot of video editing, dvd authoring etc. Doesn't seem to give you alot of options for "managing Files" on the drive. Funny you should mention 12 shifts, do the same here and we are looking at getting a t.v for our control room. atm I use my laptop at work, have used the tvix at work but mainly stays in the car.....
