Hey guys,
I'd like to change the bulbs in the doors when you open them to something heaps brighter. Has anyone put lcds in or similar? I vaguely remember someone post a pic of a set of 4 lcds in a square... Any ideas?

I've done heaps of them. You have to be a bit careful with interior lights and door lights as they all get power through the infamous 'baby poo' box (grey box for TTs). There is a current sensing resistor that will burn out if you draw too much current. This is not normally a problem with LEDs but can be a worry if the 'blue" bulbs are used. For door light, 3 LEDs of your choice in colour (5mm or 10 mm types) and about a 47 ohm resistor, all in series, works well.

I went a step further. green neons are on a switch so they either turn on when door is opened or when ever i like with a switch. and white LED "parking light" globes do the job for the stock lights.
