The price is good...but these 4 head units are for sale by the same user...with 2 different user names, and no feedback. And will also only accept western union! Too fishie for me? Looks like someone on ebay may get stung.

If you can fit it in a 2-Din unit will always be better. The screens are better supported and won't break the mounts like those do all the time. For a bit extra you get the Brash's 2-din unit that is proven to work well and has at least some after sales backup.

When the time comes i will be buying one from Brash. For that very reason. The only thing i dont really like about the brash units is the very basic screen setup, not much going on on the screen, a bit boring

Yeah, a bit more imagination would've been handy at the design stage. At least it is a touch screen. And that means a lot more than you may think. It is possible to drive one of these without the remote which is a good, no GREAT, thing! I really can't believe how good these things are even compared to units 3 times the cost. I know that repairs in the future will not be as easy to get parts for as top name brand stuff but then have you tried getting bits for one of those lately? I'd much rather throw away a $900 unit in a few years time than a $3500 one 'cos it ain't worth fixing. David Brash is good with stuff that doesn't work too. Despite what his website says he has exchanged units without question if the was any suspicion that they weren't right upon delivery and initial install (in nearly every case the unit was not faulty but there was some weird fault pre-existing in the car. Fixing said faults is much easier when you KNOW that the new stereo, DVD etc is not faulty 'cos he swapped it.) Try getting Panasonic to do that!!!
I have fitted one of these units to a mates' Merc and at first we were a bit worried that it might not be up to the top notch Boston speakers and big power amps for sound quality.....but we were wrong; it sounds bloody good.
