Hi all,
Well I have been looking around for a double din DVD player. I have found one that I really like (Kenwood) but for around $2K I wanted to find something a bit cheaper.
Anyway, I came aross this on Ebay...have any of you seen these in real life?? and are they any good...

Looks reasonable to me, not a no-name brand. Read thru some of their feedback, only bad comments are about items being listed for sale, but out of stock. And ya don't really want a Kenwood, ya want an Eclipse!!

Do eclipse still not make a detach face? I was going to buy one of their decks a few years ago, but non of them had detacable faces. Apparantly you need a special cd 'key' to unlock them after power has been disconected, like any common theif would know that, they'd just rack it anyway!

There is new model just arrived in Strathfield stores made by Shinco.. (From what I know they generally use Toshiba parts).. CDS2610 No info per se yet (I'm still on holidays) but I had a play with one the other day and the quality is amazingly good!! Can be had for around $1200-ish and can run Shinco's GPS Navigation as an optional extra!!
