brad, the 150,000km service requires the removal of the 2jzge engine, and the bolting of the 1jzgte head and the turbo/turbos of your choice onto it.a 3mm head gasket will reduce the compression to the correct level. refit the engine, and enjoy.yeah yeah yeah i know- no one loves you 2jzge owners... ;)

Haha I read that first bit and thought you were going to say something like "Replace crankcase bearings" or something..
One of my plans-that-will-probably-never-happen-but-will-if-i-get-organised is to grab the 2JZ-GTE engine from an aristo with a 5 spd tiptronic and slap that in there..
Then i will have horsepowers as well.
But for now the 2JZ-GE will do me just fine. (It's probably keeping me alive, truth be known)

Add brake bleed in if you haven't had one recently. Plugs should still be OK as long as they were done at 100,000 - test leads, check distributor cap and button etc.

I had a look at the first spark plug and it looks fairly new + clean. How hard would it be to get them all out? I'm assuming you have to pull the throttle body off to get at all of them?

Yup, but it's not as bad as it sounds, do a search and you'll find a tutorial I wrote on it - late last year I think it was... Took me an hour and a half or so, and that was with a fair bit of stuffing around. Also good chance to clean the throttle body.
