| How can you distinguish if your JZZ31 is a G package? What is the difference? |

| Get Baggs check it for you =) JZZ31 G pack has factory wood dash & door inserts and leather steering wheel - those are probably the two easiest things to spot. |

| Not a lot revealed other than it's Black with Black trim, but ewe knew that already HeHe.
There were two variations. Basic GT model which has plastic dash inserts, manual seats etc (Pov Pak). And the luxo version which is GT "G" package, which has the timber dash inserts and other odds n' ends. So basicaly, if ewe have timber on ya dash, it's "Luxo"..............plastic "Povo"

| Isn't there a few letters added to the VIN no. which tells you it's G-pack? I'm sure ours has it, but it's in Perth so can't check. Our stuff is in storage too. I do know it's G-pack though. Aside from the goodies mentioned, G-pack also comes with cruise. |

| Mine does'nt have cruise - did your earlier car have it too? I've only ever seen JZZ31's post 8/96 fitted with cruise, so maybe its something they brought in for that year. |

| The '95 didn't have cruise, and the '97 is of course after the upgrade date. I recall there is something on the under-bonnet VIN plate which denotes G-pack though, not sure if part of VIN no. |

| Its something I occasionally miss having (from my UZZ30) - but mostly its pretty pointless on NZ roads. |

Hi Mike, Long time, no hear You are right. A luxo pack WILL have a "G" at the end of the chassis number (same deal for the "S" pack 3.0L models). I had forgotten about that when I answered Joshua's post |

| G'day Don We've left Norfolk and were on the road for a bit. We are now in a flat in Melbourne for a few weeks while I do some instructing at our training school. We then head off (by road) for Exmouth at the end of this month. Our net access has been patchy even with Next G setup up on the laptop (as our first month's plan was time limited, forums use it up rapidly). The Soarer's in Perth in storage, hopefully it will be registered before heading for Exmouth (in fact it has to be done in Pert Metro area). We're driving a Rexton in Melbourne and across the Nullabor. |

Dead right! Our major beef is the stupid 7-seater setup which is difficult to remove, and takes up a lot of room. Otherwise, comfy and economical. |

| I've only ever driven one in my sister in laws wedding (bridesmades car) - I was very impressed with the equipment levels - not so impressed with the handling or acceleration. |

The acceleration is hardly at Soarer levels but it's perfectly adequate for a diesel. Handling is OK- adequate. |
