Hi Guys

Just wanted to know what your car idles at roughly on a cold start, mine seems to be at around 1500-1800, usually for 1-2 mins, does this sound normal.

Mine sits at about that as well.

It's kinda hard to reverse slowly and carefully when it's idling that fast.

Mines a little lower than that - about 1100-1500 I'd say - but yeah, its normal, as long as it settles down to 600-700 after a couple of minutes all is well.

Mines is at 1250 when I start up. Did you do any engine mods?

yeah it drops down to around 600rpm, no engine mods, yeah i know what you mean about reversing.

Mine's stock as a rock except for a kinda-BFI thing.. It usually settles down by the time the temp reaches its second spot on the gauge..

I have intake and exhaust, and mine's usually at 1100-1400 then drops to 600-800 at idle.
