Thanks, did it by my self, only took about 2 days of work once I had all the materials. Mike, the bolt on the far left is the same bolt used to hold down the airbox. I figured I could use it to hold down the top cover as well since it was pretty long.

Good thinking, Simon. I cut my top piece short there and filled the gap with some medium density grey foam. Yours looks very neat. I seem to recall mine starting out bigger, but cut it back as the larger piece interfered with the bonnet closing.

Notice much difference in performance and or fuel consumption Simon?

Would having a vvti engine make it more useful to have a bfi or less useful or neither?

Its definitely much louder, and from what I can recall the performance is slightly better after around the 4000rpm mark. Really not sure on how it effected the fuel consumption though.

Don't think vvti really matters, as its just letting the engine breath better.
