hey guys as the title says my gearbox has a slipping issue and normally starts in 2nd or even 3rd gear instead of 1st. can anyone give me an estimate on how much they think it would cost to fix?? I can provide the ECU error code if needed.

Any help would be much appreciated

Normally starting in 2nd or 3rd is not a gearbox slipping issue, it's an issue with the solenoids which is common.

Either.

1. Solenoid itself is bad, clogged
2. Not getting power due to severed wire harness
3. Bad ground.

There is a new tutorial on replacing the solenoids, might be worth a read.

it says the ECU error code is code 62 which is to do with the 1st gear solinoid i think...any ideas on approximately howmuch it should set me back to get fixed???
