1994 JZZ30 1J Toyota Soarer the other day started shuddering and the idles dropped while the car was running but stationery, and when slowing down. Today stopped in an intersection to give way and it stalled. A warning light has been popping up on the dash next to where the oil warning light normally is. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the engine check light. Could any number of things.

How is the alternator and battery?
