Recently I've taken my intake off to change the the oil filter , did that all fine put it back together and now I've only got a positive power to the coil can any one help

Is it possible the coil has failed? Pretty unlikely that it would just happen coincidentally after a service, but stranger things have happened to me.

Another thing to check is the distributor rotor - they get pretty badly worn and really need replacing every 100,000km's. I'm on my second in 8 years.

It's only recently been changed I think I might have a bad earth some where but I'm not sure of where it would be
