Haha - Its even got the factory rubbish bin on the trans tunnel!
I wonder what hes wanting for it... Probably $7-10k NZD Suppose it would be worth it looks in exceptional condition - I wonder what I would be like in person as photos can be deceiving...
One thing being Red, does this particular soarer colour fade like alot of red cars in the sun? Any ideas?

Definitely, Still they dont have quite enough go under the right foot for me after driving the 4.0GTs for a while...
But they arent gutless, just feel like your carrying something heavy in the boot... With a few tweaks to the intake/exhaust/ecu Im sure they could get up and go really well & would be much more original than going for the conventional faster v8 and TT models

Hey, I blew away a Hyundai Sonata this morning!
Yeah see - they ain't gutless at all At least they sound nice like yours does with the BFI!
Save for a supercharger and bolt it on. That would be neat a Supercharged 3.0GT... Hmm but Hanre is right it would cost alot to get one up to a fast spec when the v8 and mainly the TTs are much more cost effective if you want to go for power.
But as you said its a daily driver and its got more than enough. Plus! its 5 years newer than most other soarers!

Err yep - your probably look at 4-6k for a decent job, then it depends if you go for a top mount charger or a centrifugal type...
I do agree it would be more cost effective to turbo it. Its just Matt said it would be nice to Supercharge one day... So just going with his personal choice. Not everyone wants a turbo..
Darryn:
I was implying the V8s are generally more cost effective than a 3.0GT as stock they make reasonable power...... but 'MAINLY' TTs are the way to go If you want power as they happen to be very cost effective... But obviously yeah a 2JZ has much more ability to extract power than a 1UZ money wise...

I have no interest in owning a turbo as a daily driver, and I do think a 2JZ supercharged would be a very interesting project, but yeah, probably only if I came into a lot of money some time.
Since babies are probably on the way in the near future, and apparently I'm going to need something to tow a boat with, my next car will hopefully be a V8 Aristo

I would have my doubts about the diff/GB ratios making too much of a difference. You'd also need to consider the weight of the car and the extra power loss across the drive train.
Not saying that it wouldn't make a bad towing vehicle. This is all just purely speculation on my behalf as don't really know much about the above mentioned model.

Mark,
Ive got it all in a box somewhere but i never bothered looking into it.I do remember that it did go into one of the emv lines, probably a mute function.
No havent sold the 32.Decided not to buy the 850ia.
Have just had the car cut and polished, had the chrome around the windows painted black, fitted the headlight eyebrows and had the side mirror shells fitted.
