Hey,
Anyone know of any soarers being striped at a wrecker in auckland? Im after a few parts for my 3.0GT
After:
Two good door hinges, any colour is fine, doesnt really matter. Wood Interior strips from doors, dash including the vents as I need to replace one of them The PRND2L panel as mine has some damage plus the gear shifter strip that runs up and down as you move the gears.
Those are the only things I need to sort out really
So yeah If anyone knows or has some of those parts let me know!

Darryn - I don't know a Darryl Demarte - a Soarer central member?
Evan - it was the last one in stock apparently, in their warehouse in New Plymouth, Palmy. I forget which one. I was ordered well before Christmas, and only had time to get on to it earlier this month.
R&B Toyota fitted it for me last Thursday but I have to take it back on Monday because it's not aligned correctly. Whoever was doing it also put a bloody nice crease in the front quarter when opening the door prior to securing it - you can still see the curvature of the door in the dirt. It's noticeable to me at least.
Just one f_______ thing after another with Toyota garages, it really is. I expect to go in to the workshop on Monday and see real, live monkeys in there, playing with grease.

Daryl's one of the Aussie lads who is rebuilding the hinges and was looking for some so he could run an exchange service, although freight might kill the deal.
There's an article on Planet Soarer with his contact details and what he does. As far as I know he's a member of the ALSC.
This is all assuming the was a reason that you changed the hinge of course

Hi Guys,
Has anyone sent hinges to the dude in Aus. I just spoke to an engineer and he thinks the price sounds pretty fair although as Darryn says the freight might kill the idea.
