hey guys and gals, i've been looking around for places in auckland to get my digi dash fixed, does anyone know of any good places to go to get dashs done?? getting sick of places that think they know what they're doing...

If you can get it out yourself, but aren't confident in doing the soldering, maybe take it to a appliance repair person and tell them to just replace all the caps - they should be able to do all the caps for you easily, and do quality solder work, as they should be experienced at it.

Its quite simple though, I just go to Jaycar, get some 12v bulb's which are 10mm long, colour them with model paint depending on the colour, let them dry, remove the plastic cover on the wire to expose the leads and pop them into the original screw in/out sockets.
Ive had some in the celsior for at least 4 months and they have been sweet!

hey mike, thanks for the tip, i've done that and noticed that the owner before me just have done some handiwork on it two points look real bad and two pieces need replacing. mike are you in auckland, if so would you mind taking a look for me?? thanks azza.
