| Ah, I thought I recognised the user name Lol. I have been wanting to upgrade to std.TT wheels for some time, as I have a near new set of Champiro 225/55 x16" tires ready to go, PLUS a rebuilt set of TT front calipers ready to be installed. Yes I DO have std., 15" V8 wheels and tires on at the moment, which I will be selling once I have fitted the TT wheels. The wheels in my profile pic were put on by the car yard to give it a bit more "Bling" potential for younger buyers (Horrible uni-lug design with totally wrong offset, and 75mm center hole ). I took em off when I got the cars original wheels & tires from the yard. But in answer to your question Darryn, I'm prepared to pay a reasonable amount for the rims and nuts, BUT I won't be spending anything like $400.

| Champero GTR's are such a great budget tyre - had a set of 235/45 ZR17's on my V8 - great wet or dry and only $180 each new. |

| Heh, yeah I saw the TT mags in your future upgrades and thought I'd be cheeky enough to ask, no sense bidding against you if you really want them, it'll only end up costing one of us more. I'm just after a set of standards for a while, so I can flick the ones on there atm (Again, I think they were put on to make it look better as the expense of ride/handling, amongst a few other suspension issues but it seemed like a cheap place to start ) and when I get a set of Altezza's they were just going to sit in the shed, with one being used as a full sized spare...because a space saver on a Soarer tends to worry me if I ever have the need and it was just convenient as I'll have a vehicle over that way the weekend after the auction finishes. I'll bow out since you really want em more than me Don, and how much were you thinking of selling the V8 wheels for?? |

| Darryn mate, Thanks for that, I DO appreciate it . I suspect that Previa's have a similar, if not the same wheel . My original UZZ30 4.0GT wheels WILL be Very well priced. They have Firestone "Firehawk" 215/60 x 15" tires all round. The rears are near new, and the fronts are probably (Without thinking about it too much ) about 80%. They WILL be sold fully ballanced, with excellent condition center caps, and original wheel nuts. If you want em, you've got FIRST option. NOTE: I CAN provide VERY cheap freight within the North Island, and in fact WILL provide FREE freight between Wellington, New Plymouth & Auckland.......Coz I work for a transport company, and I get to call the shots ie: who gets charged for what, and who dosen't . PM me Darryn if you wanna make an offer, I WILL look after you.

| Thanks for that Ian, The only problem with that, is, Previa owners tend to keep their original rims, coz they don't have that much imagination, that's WHY they bought the goddamn ugly pieces of crap in the first place!

| OK new TT wheels are installed, so my old originals are for sale. NOTE: Darryn has 1st option. The wheels are original GT4.0 & Limited type. 15"x6.5" with perfect center caps, 20 x wheel nuts, and ballanced. Tires are 215/60x15" Firestone Firehawk's. 2 are nearly new, 2 are 90%. The price is $150 with free delivery to Auckland/Palmy & Wellington. Unfortunately Darryn the cheapest I can get freight for YOU is $50, so IF ya want em it'll be $200 all up.

| Mike, I hate to tell you this, BUT this IS the $63 set from Trade Me . The guy had the original wheel nuts, which was an additional $20. 3 of the wheels are perfect, and one had a minor scrape on two of the spokes, which I touched up with silver spray-paint, then a bit of clear-kote on top. Standard TT wheels are 16"x7" 50 offset.

Before the end of the year the Soarer will be coming of the road for a wee while whilst upgrades are done to it then I'm either getting my bumper repaired and resprayed or I'm going to N1 Kits to get a Vertex or Bomex front bumper as they have pretty reasonable prices for those.
