Buying a complete running setup is definitely the way to go however that supercharger shown in the ad was actually mine - I assume Damian's is similar though. He was using that motor to mock a couple of things up for me.
Damian's setup comes with a Link G1 V5 ECU which is what I have on my Hilux with a 1UZ. There is no cold start injector or idle control valve. The V1 is an okay ECU but certainly not as good as the factory setup. It will in theory though put out more power if tuned properly. Has Damian got the dyno sheet for you?
You would need to wire it in along with the factory ECU to control the auto trans.
I bought my setup in pieces and have had to get a few things modded to make it all work together. One thing to note with Damian's manifold is that the manifold bolts to the block from the inside so that means if you ever have to pull the manifold then you have to remove the top plate which also means the supercharger has to come off.
I haven't actually installed my setup yet as I am making a new throttlebody adapter that won't require me to relocate the purge canister lines on the firewall.
As I mentioned in another thread I am going to get the bellhousing and flywheel from Damian for my manual conversion.
The manifold is cast and will definitely do the job however it's not a factory finish but then the price is the best that's available in the market at the moment.
Replacing the charger bearings and seals isn't a difficult job and doesn't cost that much. Getting a correct size pulley is though.

Definitely Evan.
I am just working through the last couple of little bits, the plan is to have the whole thing be a bolt on setup so that the car isn't off the road for very long.
There are a lot of things that need to get sorted, vacuum lines, intake trunking, ICV relocation plus a bit of customising for my particular charger. I also have AFR and Boost gauges to go in.
I will take plenty of pics and some vids. I have two pulley's, a 2psi and a 5.5psi so the plan is to start on the 2psi and drive out to the facility where I have access to a Dyno and then do some power runs with the larger pulley and see how the AFR is with the stock ECU and injectors.
Matt.

Hehe, Golly... wasn't I getting out of my depth with such a project like supercharging! Still glad I managed to 'attempt it'
I'm glad it's going well though Matt, I knew with this sort of project there were the issues with the ICV re-locations and multiple vacuum lines but it's not till you work everything out in real time does it become apparent whats actually involved on top of the major things.... sounds like its paned out quite well in spite of all that.
Again, I can't wait to see it running some time in the future - it will be quite a soarer.

I am very much looking forward to it.
Unfortunately I had planned to have it running by now so that I could go and get the car certified once but unfortunately the WOF expired a month ago and I got pinged for no WOF the other day so had to go and get the wheels, suspension, exhaust, seats, and brakes certed.
Andy Ward did the cert, only problems was the seat belt buckle mounts. Had to get new mounts made and new longer stalks.
Hopefully I can get the supercharger and manual conversion done together and recerted.
