air bag light has come on and have tryed another air bag but the fault light is still on
was hoping that someone had an airbag that they know is good that they can lend me and if it sorts the problem i will but it

The airbag itself might not be the fault Murray.

Does anyone know if the diagnostics plug gives out ABS fault codes?

Crash sensors and cabling are possible causes of faults on other cars I have worked on.

Actually, did you clear the codes after replacing the bag? The ABS codes are usually persistent and won't self clear.

thanks guys,yes i cleared the fault codes and it didn't clear.the fault still came back.
i looped the TC and AB terminals and it has removed the airbag light which got my WOF but will try another airbag anyway and see what happens. do you have a b/a #evan so i can give you some $20 for postage so you can post it to me to try.
