Hello chaps.

I'm after a functioning 1UZFE starter motor thats complete.

Mine was working great in the bench test after rebuilding it but then 2 months later when I tested it in the car something was wrong, tried everything to make it go with no avail.

So if anyone has a starter or know where I can get one send me a message on here.

Cheers

Is probably cheaper to take it to an auto sparky and get it professionally looked at.

If you did the rebuild yourself it's possible it's gone back together incorrectly and could be a simple fix.

I rebuilt mine and they are pretty straight forward to do.

Matt.

Yeah, Its just strange, I tested it correctly after putting it back together, and it worked like it should, motor ran and the solenoid pushed the gear out.

Tried it last week and it didnt work, like wise in the car.

Might pay to take it too one, see if they can work it out. Thanks Matt.

Haha, in my foolishness in December when I put it back together and tested it, I didnt put load on the gear while testing.

After doing it this week I found I had put the over-running clutch in the wrong way!

All is well now. :-)

Farking hell!
