Hi guys, quick update from the 4 and Rotary nationals yday.
conditions at the strip yday, a lot of interruptions and no fun by any stretch.
Racing got underway and I had two practice runs before getting knocked out in the first round by 0.18 of a second
Ran a pb of 12.4sec, not overtly happy about it but given the amount of time on track and conditions, that will have to do. Conditions did get better at the end of the day though.
Future plans; well in the immediate future I want to sort out a decent tune before any race whatsoever. There seems to be a flat spot when on boost. It climbs then flattens out momentarily and keeps pulling hard again.
This is where it costs me time and leads me to believe a high 11 is very possible. My 60footers were crap, no excuse there, best I managed was a 1.9 even with some mickey t's but I blame it on the weather
Now to find a tuner who is competent with an Ems stinger. Dont anyone mention speedsource
