I am in the middle of doing a rebuild on my 1jzgte and have got to the point where I need a gasket set.
so far I havnt had any luck and before I ring mr toyota and hand over an arm and a leg I thought I better ask here for any advice. I can get the majority of the oil seal through my work but the head gasket is my main problem as the only price ive been given is $600+gst for a acl race series gasket. any advice or any parts for sale would be much appreciated

Ring Rutherford and Bond Toyota in Wellington. Talk to Kevin, Marty or Rory.
Price for a head gasket was around $190+ gst. The cheaper option is to buy a engine gasket kit at not much more $$ extra.
