Don't think this will get much of a response on here judging by previous expressions of interest by south Island soarer owners, however I am organizing a cruise for the 5/12/2010 already have 3 definite soarer owners coming possibly 4 would be great to have more. The cruise will be on evening of the 5th of December a little light cruising followed by a meet and greet at an location that I will forward to any interested people. I don't want anyone who cant' behave themselves on public roads as we don't wish to attract the attention of the boys in blue (we all know what our cars are capable of) and we all know that the police love nothing better than a reason to pull over try hard boy racers. Soarer Cruise was a great success 4 out of 5 Soarers showed up eventually on the day. Here are some of the pics I'm waiting for more to be emailed to me. Only 2 casualties for the day 1 was a poor cat that strayed into the 100km/ph zone and got tagged by 2 Soarers and the other was poor Davids Diff. The theme of the day seemed to be "waiting for Will" as you will see. Here we are waiting for Will to arrive.

Here is what happens when a misguided cat strolls into the path of 4 angry Soarers and only manages to dodge 2 of them I must point out we all tried to avoid it but unfortunately 2 of us me included bring up the rear didn't have enough time to take evasive action at 100km/ph at least it was quick.
Cat 0 soarers 2 for those that are interested the soarers came out ok with no damage I can't say the same for the cat however my soarer has now inherited the other 7 lives from the cat I cant say the same for poor Daves diff that died shortly after for "no apparent reason"

The drivers form left to right Will (turbo 6), Danny(v8), Dave(turbo 6), Chey(v8), thanks guys for coming out and having a blast ! great time was had by all and none of the usual V8 vs Turbo 6 rubbish both were equally respected and equally quick too might I mention. thats not fair, everybody knows how smokey mine is under boost! haha cant pull that one out man. but yea mine was just as slow...i mean fast as the v8s, cheers for sorting it all out man, was fun

Yeah Pete was good not a bad turn out considering I pulled most of these guys over and force fed them Soarer central ! I have to say every single person I have met that owns a soarer has been genuinely nice and quite the enthusiast a must for owning one of these special cars.
