Hi everyone, Getting cam belt done again shortly. Is there any frost plugs on front of engine which should be replaced whilst everything is off. Replacing all other usual parts as well. Thanks

Rod would not bother changing front core plugs (the ones at the back of engine have been known to leak ) but i would change water pump while its easy to get to.

Ok thanks Dave. Just thought I might do them whilst all bits off but you reckon don't bother. Yes doing water pump and seals and all rest of gear.

The only seal to really check is the front main oil seal, they can leak. Worth replacing when the timing gear is off.

As does the block plate seal for the coolant below cylinder No.2 on the drivers side
