i assume you mean you have a hole in the factory plastic top tank? can i suggest to replace the top tank, rather than repair, as it is likely over 20 years old, and the top tank gets much hotter than the lower one, so is more brittle now. replacement ones can be sourced by most radiator shops. I think i paid 140 bucks for my last one(plus labour on top).

Some radiator repair shops can do replacement glass fiber top tanks, a spare radiator I had, had that done, but they usually aren't a cheap job, and re-crimping an old core on a new tank can cause leaks.
I work for a radiator company and we sell a range of Radiators.
We have plastic tank versions and Full Alloy, however where it gets annoying is we do JZZ30 plastic 26mm thick standard spec radiators, and thicker full alloy ones, but when it comes to the V8s we only do full alloys, no more plastic alloy versions for some reason.
Personally I prefer the plastic alloy as they look nicer and are a factory fit. That said the full alloy ones aren't bad, I'm waiting for a fresh sample having personally redesigned the alloy one, here's a CAD image of what it's to look like, obviously the colours are for identifying the seperate parts
Heres the finished version of the Twin turbo full alloy radiator. Still 2 months away from the factory having produced the V8 ones to the same specs though.

^ Haha same as the generic thing we get out of China. Poorly detailed and has certain issues, ie bleed pipe is not set high enough like factory.
I look forward to my revamped one arriving from a different higher spec factory, they are very slow to produce but do make a good unit with the right plans.

I just put that up to lead him to the others on ebay, my top started to have a small leak but i bought a brand new one from Toyota $380 trade. trying to keep the car as it left the factory.
