As some of you know I'm almost bald, and I've chewed all my finger nails off waiting for my soarer to arrive for the last Month and a half,(50 days 4hours and 53 minutes to be exact) and after the last few calls with my importer it has me wondering? How long did you have to wait to get your Soarer from Japan? How long did it take to arrive from Vancouver to your local? I'm in Edmonton and It arrived July 7th and cleared customs the same week and I still don't have it. I need a slurpee. /rant

Oh it's cleared customs alright. They told me it cleared on the second week of July. I was also told it would be on the train on the 3rd week. there we are on week 5 and it's still not on the train. They aren't communicating very well. They kind of act like these delays are common. Hence the topic.

Dale, my first one took 3 months from purchase so don't worry too much. Most of that was waiting for RORO but still...

This just in: "There was an extraordinarily long wait for the container destuffing process because the facility in Vancouver was overburdened. I was told that Searail wouldn't be picking up these vehicles until today, also because they were backed up, the vehicles were removed from the container last week." Well at least I have the chassis number now so I can track it. Maybe next week during my Vacation if I'm lucky.

Hey Dale.. My car just arrived in Calgary on Friday. If you count that time as the arrival it took just under 8 weeks. But I am getting it shipped to my driveway in Lethbridge..which won't be here until tuesday. All in all 8 weeks from purchase. JDM connections in Edmonton is smooth and professional. I would reccomend them to anybody and I am FOR SURE buying my supra from them. Good luck dale!

I think AC Schnitzer is an exhaust company, or something exhaust related. I always thought it was a euro (bmw) exhaust company. google it for the real info.

The Jap tint (in my experience) is poorly applied and bad quality. I had mine removed and replaced locally. |

Hello All, I'm new here. I ordered my Soarer in November, 2007. It took Three months to get it on a boat. It arived in Vancouver on Jan 10th, 2008 and then it took a week to process. After it was ready to go I had a transport company vehicle pick it up and they had it to my house in Alberta in 2 days. Not a bad ride either. 1991 GTT with 66000Kms.
