Alright then close to ending this nightmare, i mean group buy.
WA people you will be able to pick up your mats as of Monday. Please be aware that you will need to quote Soarer group buy, tell them your order number and also have some sort of photo id otherwise you dont get your mats.
Location is: 18 Cohn St, Carlisle (matcraft/bodyline signs on the gate)
Open hours: Mon- Thurs open 7am-4.30pm)

They should be in SA either Wednesday or Thursday next week. I tried getting them sent straight from WA to all the interstaters but the factory wasnt too keen as it was gonna be too many hours of work. So whenever they arrive i will send them out depending on what time they arrive. Hopefully mid week the one after next most people will get mats. So not too long until everyone gets their stuff :-) |

Got mine today via express post. Not sure why i got my ahead of the main order, possibly so i can have a look at quality? Anyway im very happy with the quality, mats look absolutely sweet. For a second i thought the tunnel mat was way too big however it is an awesome fit, so snug. I was planning on posting up pics but can find my usb camera cable. I sure you guys will like them as much as i do. Was a bit worried about my choice but turned out sweet as pie.
Now hopefully either the main consignment will arrive tomorrow or Thursday and then ill be able to post them out ASAP to everyone. |

Picked my sets up yesterday, very good quality and the carpet they use is solid and thick which should last some time - He also mentioned he hangs around till about 5.30pm. |

Great to see you guys like them. They are so clean i really dont wanna put them in the car. Got mine on Monday and still sitting in my living room, i keep touching them haha
If you can post up photos of them in the car, mine are a bit different so wouldnt mind seeing how the Soarer writting and the toyota heelpads turned out like. |

Let me know how you go with dying the velour black and what you use as i'd be dead keen to see the end result. Was going to buy back my Recaro seat but cant seem to find anyone selling the ones im after and as for stock black seats cant seem to find them front and rear at a good price. Dye it is haha |

Yea they fit great, I find with mine they could have done a better job with the heel pad, it kind of sags a bit when u put •• foot on it, and I can see in the future it will crease, and then crack.
as for the little clips, anyone got any idea of where we could buy them from? |

Did you get a plain heel pad or a toyota one? I just had a look at mine which has a plain heelpad and it does have a very slight give in it but dont think it will be a major problem. Originally i wasnt gonna get a heelpad but though that over time a stain from mud and stuff would be evident where my feet go. Looks like my heelpad is pretyt good, probably due to it been plain and having vertical strips where they have glued or heat treated it to stick. |

Nah mate i got a velour interior already, was looking to go Recaros again or find stock black seats but havent found any for quite some time so during the summer im gonna give my stockies a once over with some sort of dye and see how it turns out. By the looks of things stock seats (front and rear) dont fetch a lot so ill give it a go. Only seats i see that attract premium prices are the factory black seats and very good conidtion leather seats. Should come up good though as my seats are immaculate and i paid $140 two months ago to have them professionally cleaned even though they looked spotless. |

I think this is the retaining clip that I want, only place I can find it on the net is in the USA, total cost for two clips and postage is AUD$41. Any ideas where they could be obtained in Australia? (or for less elsewhere?)

Dean, they are the correct clips (same as I have for my car). Seems like a simple item for a group buy as they can be easily posted domestically once the bulk order comes in from OS. |

Dean before you start thinking about organising a group buy I suggest you go back and read EVERY post in the 4 threads involved with this one. I respect that David organised the group buy and was trying to get everyone a good deal, but if it was me I would have pulled the plug on it months ago. The first group buy cost $118 deliverd and took less than 4 weeks from suggestion to delivery. This one took 2 months to get numbers, then another 3 months for everyone to pay! Now you have to pay $15 for clips which were included in the first buy! The stress this group buy must have put on David is ridiculous.
You can have my extra set for $5 if you like (PM me) or contact the guys who made our mats. They obviously have access to them, are open to group buys and would be better priced I imagine. Or contact an Aussie Toyota dealer, you never know they might be cheaper there( ha doubt it). |

Over here in NZ all the Toyota dealers carry em in stock, as they fit a wide range of Toyota vehicles, both NZ NEW & imported.
Both mine were missing off our Soarer when we bought it, and the local Toyota dealer had em in Black or Grey for about $7.80(NZD) each.

Alright good news peoples. The people who brought you your fantastic mats have been in contact with me to solve the dilemma of clips. They have them in stock and can provide them for $7.50 a pair with an order of 20 or more. They are only grey in colour so no other colours are available but i guess they could be easily painted and most of it is hidden away. This is a price which is then posted to one address and then that person needs to send it off to individual addresses. Unfortunaely i dont have the time with my starter motor finally giving up today and uni exams so hoepfully one of you guys can organise this and ill be ableto help with the communications side of things were possible.

Solved my problem... went into the Toyota dealer today and asked about obtaining said clips. They happily gave me two clips for nothing. I thought that was very nice of them, considering that I've never dealt with them before! |
