| Wouldn't have a clue about postage as it depends on how many would be ordered. I can find out once i know roughly how many will be ordered. |

| Ok so doing a bit of catching up as ive had an issue with back pain (getting old :-( haha) and just doing all the regular exams bullshit, doing the last few things with my brother/family before he moves to the US and trying to get my white Soarers gearbox sorted so i can drive the damn thing : -( So to start off with the mould will be done in roughly a week, so 4 weeks total. Ive made the decision to give them up to a week longer if needed. The reason been that i dont want to pressure them to feel obligated that it must be on such and sucha date and such and such a time. Whenever its done its done, for the sake of a few days i dont want them pushing it out early to meet a dead line. So production of everyones kits starts in a weeks time or 2 weeks from now if they need the max allowed time for the mould to be ready. Came way too far to it up over this last hurdle so hope you guys understand. Bubble wrap has arrived at my place around a week ago. Now they will be churning out 3 kits a week so there is about 10 people roughly which isnt too made. Here are some mould progress pics; |

| Costa Tsimiklis “Unless you are planning on selling $75,000 worth of kits, you do not need to charge, or pay GST. 12 month financial year turnover, if under $75,000, NO GST required. http://www.ato.gov.au/businesses/content.asp?doc=/content/20724.htm/&page=5” Costa your the man to know about this so please help me understand. The guy said that if its all in cash then its price ‘A’ but if i need a receipt for it then its 10% more so ‘A’ + 10%. Now my problem is that i’d want a receipt so if the ATO comes knock as to why i withdrew $15k i can show them that it went to the manufacturer. Without a receipt it looks like im running a business. Obviously i don’t have a business name as this is a groupbuy. So who does the $75k limit apply to, me or the guy making it? If its the guy making the kits then obviously he would be over the limit with his profits and costs been over the $75K limit. So if you could clear this up that would be awesome, obviously i don’t want to get when im doing this all for free for Soarer enthusiast. Boris Siljanoski “So I take it these kits are copies that fix certain fitment problems with the genuine Auto Couture kits?” Correct, genuine AC has been know for minor but multiple issues. With the Shine kit it looks 99% that they copied a AC kit with these flaws. What we have done is to correct all know flaws and then discovered some that weren’t documented, fixed them and then made a mould. Thus anything coming out of the mould means it has these flaws rectified already. Once i have time and done the really necessary stuff ill post a pic of a AC/Shine kit and point out everything that was done so you can compare what the differences are between then and know where the work was carried out to fix the flaws. Scott Gates “David, My final payment has been sent through. Also i have posted up details of the group buy on ALSC so see what happens and hopefully we can get a few more buyers to keep the price the same. Cheers.’ Yeah mate i got your payment, ill updated the list soon but consider yourself all paid off. Cheers mate |

| Im helping my fitter actually fit it and he will pretty much just prep and spray it for $1400. Thats using really good quality gloss that will last many years. You could skimp on a few things like getting a cheaper gloss and then your looking at around $1100 i would imagine. Not really worth the saving in my opinion. So for a good quality job i would budget around $1300-$1400. |

| cost me for prep and paint on my kit 1400 david, the large percentage of the cost of painting a fibreglass kit is in the prep work, spend extra time on prep and you will be left with a bodykit which is flawless in paint |

Will be possible for sure as thats the main reason why this is excellent for us all, if anyone smashes anything that can just order that one part. That even means 1 side skirt if necessary :-) Also can someone do me a favour, ive gone through the accounts and emails and sweet all people have sent me a postage address to get a freight quote and also havent paid in full yet. Seem a few people arnt aware the thread has been moved to the groupbuy subforums. So can someone PM the following people to make payment ASAP aswell as getting me a freight address so i can provide accurate quotes -MICHAEL LUCAS - postage details needed -PAUL MAINEY - postage details needed -ADAM UNDERWOOD - postage details needed -RYAN RANKOVIC $350 retainer - need total payment and postage details -KEVIN TRAC $350 retainer - need total payment -MURRAY LUND $350 retainer - need total payment and postage details -SAMI ANSARI $900 retainer - need total payment and postage details -FABIAN BORDON $350 retainer - need total payment and postage details -CLAYTON CARLYLE $350 retainer - need total payment and postage details -SEBASTIAN GRANT $350 retainer + $60 towards my kit - need total payment and postage details -ANARU RANGIHEUEA $200 retainer - need total payment and postage details -PETER ANGELOPOULOS $500 retainer - need total payment and postage details -ROBERT FAGGIAN $350 retainer - need total payment and postage details |

Nope as there isnt really anything out there that suits the lines. On one of my cars i plan on deleting the indicators on the front bar all together. What did you have in mind anyway? |

I mean there are Vertex and i think its called KTM clear indicators out there or alternatively you could do the $5 clear indicator mod. |

| I wouldn't see the need for changing the indicators. Then everyone would need to buy new ones to fit, and not fair to those who have soarer indicators and are happy with them. Its more a mod for after when getting bodyshop to fit the kit. Sorry to hear that news scott, lets hope it can be salvaged. |

| cars fine, no chasss damage panel damage, intercooler damage only the front bar , towbar hit, and it just cascaded from there, cracks running out to around the main headlights. Insurance will write it off due to the cost of repairing it, plus it will never be as strong, so il bodge this 1 up as something haha. So the old bomex is going back on until i can get another auto couture bar from the groupbuy or from the US again lol |

I just made the assumption that after spending this much money on a kit plus more on painting and fitting, no one would scunge out and put the ugly orange indicators back on. I figured everyone would go clear, hence finding a clear that can be had for $10-20 rather than $150. I'll shut up now, then. |

| Dan, i know what you mean. And in some ways i agree. But for those who want to keep the soarer ones or already have clear ones for the soarer, then its a waste. So i believe its better for the mod to be done as per persons request when fitting. It wouldn't be hard to change before prep and paint. Just find the lights you want and the body shop would make the provision for you. |

| For the Melbournians...if delivering the kits to one place is going to save us some money, I could distribute them to people (within reason) as I have a ute and also have access to a small truck. When I say within reason, I mean in and around the city, or east of Melbourne (I am forty minutes east of Melbourne in the Ferntree Gully area). David - when you have some idea on postage costs, perhaps you could tell us whether this is likely to save us a reasonable amount, or not? |

| hey guys, This goes out to the melbourne boys - I just had a chat to my uncle who works at a freight company and sed that if us melbourne fells wanted to we could freight the body kits down through his contacts (who work for TOLL) and that the rough price for each kit would be about $160 (give or take a little depends where the kits are piked up from in adelaide) If we could get david or someone to send oour kits to a TOLL depot in adelaide then the price would for sure be around the $160 mark (ill get measurements shortly for a box) Don't know if this is a good price but just thought i'd put it up just incase we can't find anything cheaper! let me know what you think fellas and i can relay back to my uncle if we decide to go down this road.... cheers |

| That sounds very expensive to me. And no disrespect intended but Toll are known for their high prices. I recently had a soarer body kit transporter from Sydney to my door for $75. Also, combining several kits in one box shouldn't change the price much. |
