Recently Masato sold a pair of these on the forums and it received great interest. I am also wanting a pair of these so I have decided to look into a group guy. I have been speaking to the seller in the US who sells these and he would be able to do them for around $60 AU each including postage for 20 pairs. Add your name to the list if you want in!

Is it the same seller who also sells carbon fibre ones or is that a different seller? I have seen them both on Ebay. Registering interest for carbon fibre pillars if it is possible through the same seller.

Beats wrapping pillars in di-noc I guess :-)

The seller can get carbon pillars, but he explained that they are just 3M cutouts..

Has anyone managed to fit one of these without removing the wind deflectors?

Hey Warren,

I guess you don't have wind/rain deflectors installed on yours?

Look here.

Look at how the deflector attaches to the pillar and you will know why I ask the question.

I don't want to remove mine to install the cover as it will wreck the foam/seal of the deflector (most probably)

jason since yours are in perfect nick i dont reckon you should touch them at all.I reckon i would take a set except that isnt it reportedly quite easy to remove paint and polish up the underneath?
btw where did you get the deflector?

Probably. But not worth the trouble for me as new seals/3M double-tape(cut to fit) would have to done.

No time to muck around... Hahaha.

You mean like this?
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-first-generation/368769-diy-polished-window-trim.html
I know you can do the window surrounds but not to sure about body trim. I know that with the door surrounds you need to polish the trim quite frequently or the shine starts to fade. You wont get any fade with these.

Hey ben. that pic was not my car. Mine's not too bad but wouldn't mind real carbon inserts. Deflectors came original with the car when I brought it over from japan.

Mine were stainless steel, just hit them with some paint stripper and BAM all shiny.
