So will any of the proceeds from the new kits that are being ordered be going to the people who were ripped off? Kind of sucks that WE payed for the mould to be made and now others can benefit from our loss.

I honestly believe that everyone will get their kits as long as they were all made. As realistically what would dave do with all the kits, good luck trying to sell them off. Also as far as i know the moulds still need a few more kits to be made before it are fully paid off anyway. As the mould ended up taking more time to get together as first thought. But thankfully the costs will be also spread onto future buyers and not any more on top to those already involved. But this is always the case, the people who first invest in a new project always lose out a bit. But it wouldn't be a lot. I will say that i am not defending dave in anyway as i have had to stick my neck out to much for this turkey and now spending my own time chasing things up and picking up kits and still have to get the remaining items from dave. Its such a headf#*k to me and everyone involved. I think i speak for everyone here when i say this has been going on for far to long with way to many bulls*#t stories and excuses delaying even the simplist of steps.

Thanks for the update Scott, So does this mean we will have to pay again for shipping of the kits interstate ? what will happen to the shipping costs we have allready paid? i didn't expect thigs to come to this i would have just preffered my kit get shipped over and if it got damaged during transit i would of happily taken it up with the trucking company i mean thats why we paid for insurance isn't it? I'll be in adelaide this w/e scott if possible i'de like to catch up with you mate and also narvey if you can send me the details of david / i.e phone number and address that would be greatly aprpeciated. I'ts just frustrating because my car has been sitting in a workshop for 6 months in peices because i've been telling everyone i'm waiting for a body kit thats nevver arrived not to mention the registration costs i'm paying to keep the car on the road.

I hope we can stick together on this till everyone is sorted, and not have a situation where some are in a position to grab the kits the manufacturer was holding, and others are left in the lurch waiting for David to turn up. I'm anticipating the first scenario. PS: I'll be back from O/S in May.

i have been watching this thread for a while now and after all the facts are put together it seems that this "dave" fella looks like he might have his fingers in a few pies? makes one wonder whether the coppa's have caught up with him (which would explain his MIA status) its very disappointing to see so much di*&ing around to get a product, it makes me wary of ever having anything to do with group buys in the future.

Good news everyone david was home today and has given me a run down on what has been going on. 1. internet (adam Internet) still hasnt done anything about the non broadband F up in Kilburn, hence why he hasnt posted up info ect ect. 2. The box company that david has got to mnake uo the boxes F up the orders and made it 10mm too small and new ones had to be made. Then they ran of of metiral and had to wait for more stock. 3. He has been working out many different ways to get these sent out and most of the plans have failed, e.g the one where me and him were going to drive up and deliver them ourselves becuase of 2 members who didnt pay, then we had the one where everyone was going to get them feighted out to their doors steps, but e-go.com.au and northline stuffed up the qoutes and never got back to David. So far nothing has gone to plan much... And for the SAU members who demand their money back, david is fully aware about the situation and the floor mat business doesnt come back untill March, which the members will or have been notified. David is not here to steel or mess around with people's $$$ Things jsut dont go to plan as sometimes and Shiz happens. He will be posting updates on what is happening what will be happening what had happend how did it why did it happen where did it happen and why cause and what caused it to happen Now because that because the kits have been ship to the Gate's residence, David needs to know the following Who will be the person collecting the kits for Scott's place and who will they be going to. Please post up your names of who will be getting the kits from the pick up asap. THE REASON FOR THIS is the boxes have already been payed for and the kits at Davids house will be the ones going in boxes. The kits at Scotts house are ment to have boxes aswell as they have also been ordered but have been adressed to the workshop that made the kits... So who ever is getting a kit from Scotts house please post up your names asap. David will be on later to explain the FULL as this is the info that I have recived to day. Please don't go apes at me or anything as I am only trying to help out, thankyou soarer lovers

You'll forgive me for not believing one F ing word of this. In response to: 1. Does David live in a volcano? Ever heard of an internet cafe or using his Uni's internet or even asking anyone who is not amish to borrow their phone to quickly update 13 very worried people about what the F is going on with their $20,000 worth of merchandise. What a crock of 2. Wasn't bubble wrap or styrofoam going to be used as well? Surely you could use 10mm less of that. And the box company ran out of cardboard??? That would be like KFC running out of chicken, it just doesn't happen. 3. I've had many items sent through E-GO and I've never had a problem with them. Also, why has David taken money for postage when he hasn't even go a firm quote? I'm not having a go at you Narvey, I just don't believe any of this crap anymore. All of David's excuses seem to me to have quite an easy solution. I do thank you Narvey for relaying this info if indeed you are a real person and not just David with another account. I just don't know what to believe anymore. The only thing I know for sure is that if I don't get my kit soon I will be pursuing fraud charges against David Grabowicz.

im pretty legit, ask people who have bought stuff of me here 1. Yes, he will be at the internet cafe tonight. The bubble wrap is used to wrap them store the kit in the box. Insurence wont cover for any damages if it is not stored in a box. They the metrial they use to make the box only reaches 590cm In height and wont clear the kit. The kits should not be bent or have any force put on them in anyway. Hence why he doesnt like the idea i stacking them on top of eachother and boxing them up. and yes, KFC have run out of chicken many times in Prospect on Main North road, trying going in there at 9:30pm on any day and you will find out for yourself lol. I can do anything about the long explenations... Im not incharge or have anything to do with the kits. People are always complaining ( and I dont blame them, they have every rite) but its the only way for David to tell people of whats going on and you don't have to belive it but at least he has said something. And I know for a fact the the problems that have been encounted are legit as David can show proof of paper work and invoices.

From what Narvey has told me 5 kits are in Scotts hands leaving 7 in mine. What i need is a list of people that will be allocated to the 5 kits Scott has so i know whom to send the 7 to. I need this ASAP so i can send them out and two dont get sent to one person. Sami man i need to know what your doing with your kit, whether your driving down and paint like you said before or what. Also i need your payment of $600 for the rest of the kit before i can hand it over to you (thus making $1500) and either you coming down here or telling me to freight it in which case ill need your freight costs paid for aswell as the remaining amount on the kit. So i need a list ASAP of the 7 people allocated with the kits i have so i can send them out. Custom box prices were given to me yesterday. As now Narvey has informed me that only 7 need to be sent off (as 5 are been picked up by someone from Vic?) the price will go up slightly as the quotation was on the value of 12 units. So it will be more than $63.00 QUOTATION We have pleasure in submitting our quotation as follows:- DESCRIPTION CARTON 2000 X 250 X 250 CARTON - BASE AND LID 1900 X 1200 X 400 UNGLUED GLUED QUANTITY PRICE PER UNIT 12 $14.50 12 12 $29.50 $36.75 ♦ A $25.00 delivery fee also applies ♦ A $20.00 pallet charge is credited upon return ♦ All prices quoted do not include GST These quoted prices are applicable for 30 DAYS Only We value your business and look forward to servicing your future requirements. The only thing that is holding us back now its making sure that we dont double up, so i need a list, custom boxes will arrive tomorrow morning aslong as everyone is happy to pay for them and freight will pick them up tomorrow aswell so they can be on there way. Im currently at a internet cafe so have to make it short, ill be back tonight though and hopefully ahve the list and reply to the barage of posts.

Yeah i know mate which is understandable ofcourse, ive just been moving house and then found out that the place i was moving into didnt get their contract renewed so we are both moving back to my place. Thus no net as we disconnected the phone at my place and adam internet disconnected her net mistakenly instead of mine. So one house had no home phone but net and the other place had a home phone but no net/ Ill update with more details but yeah ive been frantic with the move and also mucking around with the box factory. Its in my interest to get these out ASAP to people as the bedroom that the person will be using is full of kits! Alright so ill take the WA lads 1. Anaru 2. Josh These have to be freighted so it has to come from em Then 3.Paul 4.Clayton 5.Murray 6. Sebastian 7. Sami as the kit needs storage until it has freight fund and/or a new owner Peter from memory your in Vic meaning priority goes to 2 X WA fellas, NSW people and Sami as we arent 100% sure whats going to happen there. Also are people fine with later reimbursing me for the boxes? Ill pay for it myself so no more delays. Unfortunately the place making them had dramas with the height of the cardboard they could get meaning it was 100mm to short height wise. Thus they mucked around with the design for some time now and proposed a 400mm base with a 200mm lid thus making up the 600mm we need for height clearance. The bad news is that yesterday the quote i received before seeing Narvey was for 12 kits and the price varies on quantity, thus now with 7 boxes its going to get more expensive which im not happy about but at this point there is no other solution. THus the quote with GST if we got 12 was $63ish which is stupidly expensive for a carboard box however freight will not insure the kits any other way. THus boxes are more than likely going to cost more than $63 so i dont know if you guys are happy with that. There way there really isnt any other alternative, you guys want these ASAP and i need to clear the house ASAP before/on Friday so the person can move in and i can help them with moving heavy furniture. Kind of pissed as originally the box quote was for $20-$21 for the front and rear box (as one big box) and $7-8 for the skirts box. I was aiming for something sub $30 for the lot so this was good however with the need for a lid the price in manufaturer and gluing/labour has double it and same. So what ill do is tomorrow ill haggle with the box place on 9am on the dot. See how much i can drop the price and then order them on my credit car. All going well they dispatch stuff as soon as it is made meaning i expect them around 2pm in my hands at the latest (but they have me around before so im hoping this is the end of it). 2pm will give me enough time hopefully to package the boxes with top load tape and address them and have the freight courier around 3.30pm 4pm. Only problems i can foresee is i dont know how much the boxes will come pre assembled. Im thing lid comes done and rest is flat packed. Also other concern is that the size of these will mean probably 7 trips for the courier as i wont allow stacking on top. So depends on what type of car the courier comes in. Ill tell freight to send something big, hoping no a hiace as that will 100% be 7 trips indvidually. It wont costs us anything more but im not sure if they will get all 7 done in single trips before 5.30pm Will find out tomorrow, wost case scenario will be around half are sent tomorrow by 5pm and the rest will go Friday morning at 9am. Ill post back either tomorrow or Friday and hopefully i should have my net established the coming Mondayish. Then ill go through all the posts and storm and clarify i few things that i know people would have asked. ps. Everyone besides Sami have paid for freight and the kit, everything is fully paid so dont anyone stress. Ill be paying the loat on my credit cards as there could be come flucuation as it was only a quote and the additional weight of the cardboard box. Eitherway i have every ones funds and ill give people the final freight costs once i have paid it probably the same time i go on the net on Friday as i have to go to net cafes to have access. |

Ok got word from the box place, looks unlikely that they will be delivered today. 10% chance they will make it before 5pm to my place so looks like tomorrow morning they will come and ill send them all off tomorrow. Thus isnt all bad as it gives me time to ask for anyone else that has changed addresses to PM me with an updated address so nothing is sent incorrectly. If people see fit to re send the address that i already have just to quadruple check thats fine aswell.

Just realised there will be a problem with the amount of kits i have and how many will need to be freighted. Anaru and Josh- WA need to be boxed and freighted Paul, Clayton, Murray, Sebastian, Sami and Kevin are NSW boys however that makes 8 kits needing boxing and freight. So what ill do is freight Anaru, Josh, Paul, Clayton, Murray, Sebastian and Kevin and then Sami's kit will have a box stored at my place but the kit will be at Scotts. Then there is one that will picked up locally by Robert Faggian meaning 3 need to be send (from what Narvey told me they are been picked up by a van?) for the Vic to get them to Gavin, Peter and Fabian

David, priority to thos boys is fine but i would like my Kit to be boxed in a custom box, sent via freight like the rest of the kits, my grille to be packed with the body kit and sent as one package. Even though Gavin is doing a great thing and picking the VIC kits up and i appreciate his help i dont want to take any chances with mine beeing damaged and it would accomodate me better having the kit delivered in a box as it will need to be stored until the car is finished from the workshop. Can you please confirm all this and i am currently emailing you my new address and mobile number again incase there are any complications.

A miracle just occurred...I got my kit! All thanks to Gavin Cox who drove 18 hours to Adelaide and back, which is the sole reason that David Grab has come out of the woodwork all of a sudden. And surprise, surprise, more excuses coming from David..."worst case scenario will be around half are sent tomorrow by 5pm" and within hours "10% chance they will make it before 5pm to my place so looks like tomorrow morning". I'm guessing the sticky tape company won't have sent the special tape for the boxes, so there will be another few weeks delay. Of course we won't know that for another three months because of the internet- and phone-less bubble that David lives in. David, you should be sending these kits to everyone free of charge. You had our money for so long that the interest alone would pay for the shipping, with plenty of change left over. And when are you intending to refund shipping to Fabian, Gavin and others? To Murray...yes, I'll certainly be sticking around to help in whatever way I can to ensure everyone gets their kits. To that end - Sebastian, if you do look in to legal action, I'd be happy to contribute in some way. Also as I mentioned some time ago in this enormous thread, I made some inquiries to small-debt recovery firms and there are plenty that will take this case on. Thanks again to Scott for rescuing the kits, and to Gavin for collecting them. P.S. I'll be selling my kit so if you know of anyone that is interested get them to check out the 'Parts for Sale' section...I gave up on this group buy long ago and bought/installed a 97 kit about a month back.
