Hey guys just letting you know im taking my soarer into blitz on the 6th of april to have my bonnet fitted and they are going to trial fit this bumper on my car to make sure everything is fine and dandy and make any adjustments,
Just thought I would let you all know. =] |

AFAIK, anyone can join and pay the deposit right up till production/final numbers, which I would say will be confirmed by the end of April.
I've got my 97 kit sorted to match this... just need the front bar now |

Josh didn't show yesterday at Blits, so once again now more delays.
Basically if no one can get there car up to Blits in the next two weeks i'll be cancelling the order and refunding deposits. If you can get there please contact me to arrange a time. |

I don't want my order canceled please, I'll take the pre-production bar as I have already purchased a complete 97 front end assembly just for this kit.
Worst case scenario, Send me the kit and I will pre-fit it at the workshop and make any alterations and send it back.
I've PMed Josh regarding when he can get down there, waiting for a reply.
If ANYONE else can get to BLITZ to get the bar test fitted, I'll give you a SLAB of beer, of your choice, for your troubles.

I need to replace my stock front bar, what better way than this sweetness? I'm assuming it'll fit a '93 GT-L (I'll be needing to buy a '97 grill), right?

Also, for the rest of the Tassie guys. I may be able to get the bars shipped over on the Spirit real cheap. So to save costs, I'm thinking get them shipped to me (I live 2 minutes from the ferry terminal) and a Tassie cruise involving you all coming up and getting your bars? I'd guess it'd save a fair bit of $$ |

I don't want to cancel it either but I also don't want to drag it out too long and keep everyone waiting, this should have been completed in Jan or Feb but there has been nothing but delays.
If for what ever reason the GB is cancelled the pre-production bar will go to Scott.W as he has really made a good effort in helping this GB get going and allowed us to use his AC bar,lights & grille to make the mould.
Carl, thanks for the offer but I am not about to pay any more out of my own pocket to send your car down there even though your part of the GB, I still owe you $50 for taking your car down to test fit the bonnets. lol
The whole point of Group buys like this is to get something unique at a good price which does sometimes require those involved to help out a bit to make it happen. If we can't get a bit of help then it won't happen. |

Rob, I'm happy to take over again as I want a result and the freaking front bar, even if I wait another 2 months. Things take time, if people can't wait, they can get a refund? Do not cancel the deal on your own accord, I'll take over and manage it. Make sure you call blitz and tell them that I'm taking over if that is the case so I can open up a dialogue.
Someone will be able to deliver their car and get it fitted again and I'll buy them a slab of their choice for their troubles, out of my own pocket. Failing that, I can get the preproduction kit test fitted and install my 97 gear on it for the proper gaps. I've invested big money into getting all the parts for the kit when it arrives. I don't want to cancel my plans and buy a POS M&J shine knockoff that doesn't fit properly.
Are people happy to wait to get the fitting spot on? Post if you are and post if you needed the kit ASAP and cannot wait anymore if there is a 1-2 month delay to deliver to your door. This way we can get the numbers and from the looks of it, most people are willing to wait anyway? |

Relax Costa, I have been working on for over 4 months now, we all want the same result and I'll happily discuss it if you would like to take it over however it's almost done we are just waiting to get it test fitted and it will go into production.
some people need to realise that if they make a plan and then just don't show that it stuffs us all around.
I didn't start this GB to cancel it, I want it completed but due to people multiple making promises and not carrying them out it brings everything to a holt we need to put a deadline on it so we can make other arrangements. |

So i've given up on it,
And wasn't willing to pay for a tow truck to take it there.

Okay . I have now "booked" a panel beater to paint this bar during May. Because all Tasmania will be together do we get them first or last

Why would you book anything when they are not completed???
Jumping the gun a bit and also jumping the queue as you were the last to join the GB.
I would suggest cancelling your booking for the painter as there is no confirmed eta yet.
As for shipping it shouldn't be an issue either if there is 4 or so bars packed together the size will only vary slightly, weight will obviously be more. So a courier such as e-go.com.au can handle it, as they did getting scott's bar up to blitz. |
