Hello All

As a present for all these years of forums and nearing my 1000th post! mwahaha!

I have a little project that I am about to embark upon.

There is a local Carbon Fiber manufacturer that I can request to make us a custom front bar lip replacement in nice carbon fiber!

Im still working out costs and the such.
but basically iv talked to the guy and he says we need of minimum 20 orders for it to be effective.

Once the lips are made and finished off. I will then be clear coating them in 2k high quality clear in the paint booth at work (im a spray painter), then packaging them and shipping them out!

They will be a direct bolt on replacement part that will be super shiny. The will finish off your front bar for a modern and professional look.

Raise your hands!
I will be updating this with prices and the such as i get more info..
thanks

(obviously your car must have a front lip compatible b/bar cover)

Also open to suggestions or improvements over the Toyota Design, but its generally going to be an exact clone..

I'm a definite starter, maybe something with a bit of a front curl/splitter type setup?

Any progress on this, I would have thought that up to 500 bucks delivered is still cheaper that factory. If this doesn't go ahead does anyone have some links/contacts for getting this done as a one off?

Would it be possible to do it with more of a splitter type shape, nothing over the top just a bit more out the front?

I dont know if I would be doing it in CF guys. You need that lip to be able to take knocks, etc. CF will get damaged way to easily

Real carbon can take a good hit
It's all the cheap fake crap that shatters

The fibreglass will just bend haha

I have a Wald lip that could be copied but it's probly

If you are making that lip in carbon, you would want to either make it bloody thin (3 layers of 3k twill - .9mm) so it flexes, or bloody thick (16 layers - 5mm) so it is virtually indestructible. There was a reason Toyota made it out of flexible rubber.

I have molds done on stock soarer lip in frp
Wise lip pre 96 done
Didn't bother copying the latter 97 fujin or wise lips I have as did full ac kits.

Atm I'm not sure I'll bother with getting them produced after delays on the last buy and lack of motivation from attitudes
Could possibly sell the molds if someone was interested I guess
