Just some feedback from a happy customer.
The cruise control on my C's blown active has never worked because the cable didn't fit properly. Due to the blower, the throttle body is pushed a long way further to the rear of the engine, and away from the cruise actuator meaning that the cable was far too short to connect properly.
I had a chat to Steve and David about this and they appeared totally unfazed by it all. "Send it down and we will make a new one, easy!"
Yeah right I thought. For those who have never seen a V8 cruise cable, one end has a standard barrel, the other is a nylon outer with a directional pivoting ball supported by a complex housing and stainless clip arrangement. Sound difficult, you bet it is!
It came back in the mail today. Might as well have had Toyota stamped on it! Perfect! I defy anybody to tell this component apart from the genuine article except that it's 177mm longer.
Fitted onto the car in two minutes flat and works perfectly.
I can't praise these blokes highly enough. I run their stainless lines on my cars and now have Maltech cables as well.
